Today we went to New Shanghai in Ashfield for lunch. An old classic which has recently gone slightly more upmarket with exposed brick walls, a lick of "Chinese-style" stencilling and a slight increase in pricing. Reassuringly the dumplings remain excellent and the service remains surly.
Elliot had a great time with his chop sticks although rejected all dumplings and seaweed salad for a Vegemite and cheese bun.
