Bundanoon is Brigadoon

We drove down early on the weekend to Bundanoon for the Scottish fling. The weather was suitably cold and wet. The haggis was fine, the pipes were loud and the tablet was consumed in excess.

Elliot enjoyed strutting around in this tartan hat. He ate and enjoyed his first haggis, although it was very non-traditionally slavered in HP sauce.

I think that is Australian tartan.

We had a great time seeing Dan as the drum major, throwing the mace around his head and warming up his pipes.

Debbie and Zoe both went in the tartan dash (100m-ish). Zoe face some tough younger opposition in the open ladies  and came in fourth. Debbie, barefooted on a dead track, came a comfortable second in her category.

  1. Ok, was this REAL haggis or vegetarian haggis?

  2. Real haggis of course! He loved it. As he would anything that was stuffed in a white bread roll and covered in tomato sauce.
